Responsibilities
- Administer prescribed medications accurately and safely in accordance with physician orders and facility policies
- Monitor and record vital signs, symptoms, and responses to medication or treatments using electronic health record (EHR)
- Assist residents or patients with activities of daily living, including mobility, hygiene, and nutrition support
- Maintain detailed medical documentation, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations and confidentiality standards
- Collaborate with nursing staff and healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive patient care plans are followed accurately
Qualifications
- Valid certification as a Certified Medication Technician (CRMA) or equivalent credential
- Proven experience working in assisted living facilities, nursing homes, hospitals, or home care environments
- Knowledge of medical terminology, physiology, anatomy, and medication administration protocols
- Strong understanding of HIPAA regulations and medical records management
- Compassionate caregiving skills with a focus on patient safety and dignity
Pay: $21.00 per hour
