This client-facing role requires the successful candidate to work independently to deliver energy efficiency, generation, management, and commissioning services. The salary range for this full-time role is $120,900.00-$161,233.35 per year. Ranges are determined based on the position, geography, client and industry experience and level, and represent a good faith effort to provide a fair and equitable salary. This range reflects base salary only, and not the total compensation package. Cumming Group reserves the right to pay more or less than the posted range, depending on a candidate’s experience, skills, and qualifications, including client requirements.

- Client Relationship Management
- Serve as on-site point of contact for utility management and energy operations
- Manage client expectations effectively with clear and proactive communication
- Educate client staff on utility management and energy reduction strategies and best practices
- Identify grant and incentive opportunities; manage applications and funding requests, as needed
- Project and Portfolio Management
- Deliver regular project status updates to senior management
- Report annual energy expenditure against budgets
- Evaluate energy asset upgrade priorities based on efficiency and operational needs
- Support energy impact of on-site renewable energy systems
- Support EV infrastructure planning, including fleet electrification and electric ground support equipment (eGSE) initiatives
- Coordinate energy resilience planning for critical airport operations, as needed
- Energy Analysis
- Benchmark energy performance using client utility data
- Manage energy information systems and utility bill tracking platforms
- Identify and document energy efficiency opportunities with particular emphasis on HVAC and lighting systems to support facility carbon reduction
- Monitor solar system performance, validate production data, and manage utility true-up processes
- Support airport energy, sustainability, and regulatory compliance reporting requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Environmental, Construction Management, or related field
- Minimum seven (7) years’ energy industry experience
- Strong understanding of how building systems impact energy consumption and strategies
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and energy management software
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent time management and organization skills
- Preferred Experience with energy modeling software (eQUEST, EnergyPlus, or similar)
- Preferred aviation or airport operations experience
- Preferred technical knowledge of MEP system design and operation
- Preferred background in controls, instrumentation, and system commissioning
