Job Summary:

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Geriatric Nursing Assistant to join our team at Cumberland Nursing and Rehab in Cumberland, Maryland. As a Geriatric Nursing Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our elderly residents, supporting them in maintaining their physical, emotional, and social well-being. We offer great shift diffs $1.50 for 7-3p, $2.50 for 3-11p, $3.00 for 11-7am and $3.00extra on the weekend. We also offer full benefits and daily pay.

Responsibilities:

• Assist patients with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming, as needed

• Provide mobility and ambulation assistance, including transferring patients from bed to chair and walking with them

• Assist with personal care, including toileting, incontinence care, and feeding

• Monitor and report changes in patient condition, including vital signs and behavioral changes

• Maintain accurate records and documentation of patient care and treatments

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized care plans

• Provide support and companionship to residents, promoting a sense of community and socialization
