Job Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Geriatric Nursing Assistant to join our team at Cumberland Nursing and Rehab in Cumberland, Maryland. As a Geriatric Nursing Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our elderly residents, supporting them in maintaining their physical, emotional, and social well-being. We offer great shift diffs $1.50 for 7-3p, $2.50 for 3-11p, $3.00 for 11-7am and $3.00extra on the weekend. We also offer full benefits and daily pay.
Responsibilities:
Assist patients with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming, as needed
Provide mobility and ambulation assistance, including transferring patients from bed to chair and walking with them
Assist with personal care, including toileting, incontinence care, and feeding
Monitor and report changes in patient condition, including vital signs and behavioral changes
Maintain accurate records and documentation of patient care and treatments
Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
Provide support and companionship to residents, promoting a sense of community and socialization
