What are the responsibilities and job description for the Laurels Recovery Center Counselor position at Cumberland Mountain Community Services Board?
Licensed or Licensed-eligible individual as a LPC or LCSW needed for the position of COUNSELOR at the Laurels Recovery Center, a 16 bed residential crisis stabilization and detoxification program located in Lebanon, Virginia. This position provides counseling and treatment services to assist individuals with mental health and/or substance use disorders to recover from crisis episodes. Responsibilities include providing clinical services (assessment, individual and group therapy, crisis intervention, etc.) to individuals in the program. This position requires dedication to a recovery model for persons at risk of psychiatric hospitalization and/or relapse.
This position will require flexible work hours to include evenings, weekends and holidays.
