What are the responsibilities and job description for the Worship Leader at CF Crossville position at Cumberland Fellowship Church?
Job Summary
Responsible for providing highly creative and well-established authentic worship experiences at the CF Crossville Campus that glorify God and create a path of worship for the entire congregation.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Create and communicate the vision for worship at the CF Crossville campus
- Choose new music for production within service and review with CF Crossville Music Director
- In coordination with the CF Crossville Music Director create weekly set lists four weeks in advance for CF Crossville Campus
- Work with Creative and Experience Team to create and implement a worship experience that is multi-sensory and flows with the message
- Recruit, lead and develop worship band members and vocalists for CF Crossville Campus
- Attend all CF Crossville team member auditions and collaborate with the CF Crossville Music Director in team member decisions and improvement plans
- Communicate with all team members on a weekly basis to create a relational team that supports and encourages one another
- Lead worship team practice once a week and others as needed at CF Crossville Campus
- Create, design and communicate special event services
- Oversee Ministry Team Leaders and their training
- Manage worship events and calendar
- Plan team Nights for Campus Volunteers
- Create and implement budgetary plan of the CF Crossville Worship program
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Essential and other important responsibilities and duties may include, but are not limited to the following:
- A clear testimony of faith in Jesus Christ and vital growing personal relationship with Him
- Commitment to the mission, vision and worship philosophy of Cumberland Fellowship
- A heart for the spiritual formation of those in the congregation and worship ministry
- Bachelors degree in music and worship preferred
- 3-5 years of experience as a worship leader preferred
- Skilled in choral, vocal and instrumental direction
- Skilled in use of technology in worship
- Relational skills and an enthusiastic presence for leading in worship
- Self-motivated, team player with a positive attitude and commitment for continued growth
Pay: $35,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
