What are the responsibilities and job description for the Substitute Teacher position at Cumberland County School District?
The job of Substitute Teacher was established for the purpose/s of enabling each child to pursue his or her education as smoothly and completely as possible in the absence of the regular teacher. Substitute teachers shall assume the same responsibilities and have the same authority as the regular teacher, including bus duty and playground supervision.
Must be at least 21 years of age, unless enrolled in a degree seeking program from an accredited college or university. Must have at least a high school diploma or GED. The expectation is to work a minimum of two (2) days per month.
All offers of employment are contingent upon passing the TBI/background check, fingerprinting and drug screen.
Salary : $75 - $100
