What are the responsibilities and job description for the North Cumberland Elementary - Lead Custodian position at Cumberland County School District?
The job of Maintenance Custodian was established for the purpose/s of providing custodial services at assigned site(s); ensuring an attractive, sanitary and safe environment for students, staff and visitors; performing a variety of special cleaning operations; and assisting in preparing facilities for classroom activities and campus events, and performing minor maintenance duties and completing certain work orders requested by teachers and staff.
Performs other related duties, as assigned, for the purpose of ensuring the efficient and effective functioning of the work unit. Communicates with principal, staff, and maintenance employees, including the maintenance supervisor regarding work orders; conditions of equipment, building and grounds, and any conerns with facilities.
Job related experience is preferred.
