This position is deemed a safety sensitive position, and the selected hire is subject to the successful completion of a pre-employment drug screening.

To clean and maintain assigned areas, buildings, facilities and grounds within the County.

Job Summary
To clean and maintain assigned areas, buildings, facilities and grounds within the County.
Essential Job Functions
- Janitorial Duties: Sweeps, mops, vacuums, scrubs or polishes floors. Cleans offices including desks, windows and hallways. Cleans restrooms including toilets, sinks and floors. Performs trash removal and moves supplies to designated locations.
- Equipment Operation: Able to operate vacuum cleaners, hand tools, scrubber, electrostatic sprayer & buffing machine.
- Product Ordering and Stocking: Tracks stock and prepares monthly list of cleaning items needed for completion of job tasks.
- Attends training, seminars or in-services as required.
- Performs other job-related duties as required and as assigned.
Minimum Requirements to Perform the Work:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 6-12 months working experience in custodial environment preferred.
