What You Need to Apply:

Master's degree from an accredited institution in a mental health-related field (required)

Active New Jersey licensure preferred (LSW, LAC, LCSW, LPC)

Minimum of one year of supervisory experience (two years preferred), demonstrating increasing responsibility

Residential program experience strongly preferred

Excellent oral and written communication skills

Position Overview:
As a Residence Program Director, you will ensure compliance with all Division of Mental Health and Addiction Services (DMHAS) regulations, policies, and procedures while leading a team of full-time and per diem residential staff. You will play a key role in promoting safety, clinical excellence, and service quality in residential care settings.
Demonstrates competency in delivering Motivational Interviewing (MI), effectively engaging individuals served through engagement, assessment, and intervention.
What Does This Position Look Like?
The Residence Program Director provides clinical and administrative oversight to five group homes. Responsibilities include leading clinical case reviews, treatment planning, providing staff supervision and training, and monitoring program billing in coordination with the billing supervisor. The Director will also drive the Quality Improvement Plan through key performance indicators, client satisfaction data, and resource utilization. The role includes facilitating residence meetings, supporting clients, interviewing staff candidates, and maintaining on-call availability to support the residential program's success and ensure 24/7 coverage in the residences.
