Consumer Loan Officer
Location: Falmouth Operations Center
Schedule: Mon–Wed 8:15–4:30 | Thu–Fri 8:15–5:30
(Flexibility required for community events and occasional after-hours member assistance.)
Position Summary
Cumberland County Federal Credit Union is seeking a motivated, service-focused Consumer Loan Officer to join our Lending Call Center team. The ideal candidate is a strong relationship-builder with a passion for helping members achieve their financial goals. This role is responsible for originating a full range of consumer loans—including credit cards, and home equity products—while delivering exceptional service and promoting supportive ancillary products throughout the lending process.
Key Responsibilities
· Originate consumer loans within the Lending Call Center
· Proactively cross-sell ancillary lending products
· Provide exceptional member service throughout every stage of loan origination
· Identify creative and appropriate lending solutions to meet member needs
· Represent CCFCU at community and marketing events
Qualifications
· Outgoing, member-focused personality with strong sales and relationship-building skills
· Positive, can-do attitude
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills
· Proven sales ability
· Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
· Minimum of two years’ experience in consumer lending
· Strong understanding of lending laws, regulations, and best practices
· Experience with Sync1 and CBX preferred
· High school diploma required; post-secondary education preferred
· Must hold or be eligible to obtain NMLS registration
