What are the responsibilities and job description for the 2nd Shift Tow Motor Driver/Forklift position at Cumberland Container?
2nd Shift
This position will start at 1st shift but will shift to 2nd later in the year. Forklift operators drive forklifts to shift and stack bales, cartons, containers, crates and pallets of goods in areas such as yards and warehouses. Forklift operators may perform the following task: lift, stack and unstack articles and materials using gas powered trucks equipped with fork attachments; move raw materials and finished goods to processing or dispatch areas of plant; make sure goods are stored in the correct area of a warehouse so they may be located easily when making up orders; load transport vehicles, making sure loads are evenly and securely placed; service and make minor adjustments to the forklift; keep a record of daily maintenance. Forklift operators work indoors and outdoors. Ensures that CCC quality standards are met with every piece produced. Ensures that product safety and personal safety procedures are followed in all aspects of CCC operations. Ability to perform product inspections as required.
Pay: $15.00 per hour
