Duties
- Safely operate farm machinery, power tools, hand tools, and sprayers to apply fertilizers, pesticides, and other treatments accurately across designated areas
- Conduct routine inspections of lawns, farms, or landscaped sites to determine treatment needs and ensure proper application techniques
- Maintain equipment by performing basic troubleshooting, cleaning, and refueling to ensure optimal performance throughout the season
- Follow all safety protocols and environmental regulations during application processes to protect yourself, colleagues, and the environment
- Assist with loading and unloading supplies using appropriate hand tools or farm machinery
- Keep detailed records of treatments applied, locations covered, and materials used for reporting purposes
- Support team members with general landscaping or farming tasks as needed to promote efficient workflow
Requirements
- Prior experience or familiarity with lawn care, farming practices, pest control, or landscaping is preferred but not required; training will be provided
- Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, farm machinery, and driving company vehicles safely and responsibly
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on safety standards during chemical application and equipment operation
- Physical stamina to work outdoors in various weather conditions while standing, walking, or lifting for extended periods
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively within a team environment
- Valid driver’s license; experience driving farm or landscaping equipment is advantageous
- Willingness to learn about agriculture practices including fertilizer application techniques and pest control methods
