Responsibilities

• Prepare food items efficiently and according to quality standards, ensuring food safety and sanitation protocols are followed at all times
• Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process retail sales transactions accurately and swiftly
• Provide excellent customer service by greeting guests warmly, answering questions, and upselling menu items or products to enhance their experience
• Handle cash, credit card payments, and perform cash handling duties with precision and integrity
• Maintain cleanliness in food prep areas, dining spaces, and workstations by bussing tables, sanitizing surfaces, and adhering to sanitation standards
• Assist with food handling responsibilities including stocking supplies, organizing inventory, and supporting kitchen or café operations
• Support team members during busy periods by managing multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining a positive attitude

Experience

• Previous experience in food preparation or food service environments such as quick service restaurants or cafés is preferred
• Familiarity with POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS is highly desirable
• Experience in retail sales transactions, cashiering, or grocery store operations will be advantageous
• Knowledge of food safety management practices and sanitation standards is important for ensuring quality service
• Demonstrated ability to manage time effectively in fast-paced settings while maintaining high standards of customer service
• Background in the food industry or restaurant experience that includes serving or bussing is beneficial
• Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and retail math proficiency are essential for accuracy in daily tasks

Pay: $14.00 - $20.00 per hour
