Site Design Specialist

Culver Franchising System, LLC is looking for a detail-oriented, highly organized Site Design Specialist. This position is responsible for the development of conceptual site design drawings, communicating with key stakeholders and civil engineers, gathering relevant survey and construction information, and organizing related documents.  The person in this role will provide overall support for the Real Estate Team on site design projects and efforts to enable the successful growth and expansion of the Culver’s brand.

Essential Functions:

• Responsible for Drafting and Designing Restaurant Layout as Assigned
  • Assist the Design team by completing drafting and designing projects as assigned
  • Obtain and interpret survey, zoning, and restrictive covenant information to develop accurate designs
  • Ensure designs of new restaurants meet Culver’s facility, grounds, and access/traffic flow standards
  • Revise designs to incorporate municipal and franchisee comments
  • Assist franchisees in implementing new restaurant technologies into their current restaurants
• Responsible for Maintaining and Updating Documentation Files as Assigned
  • Release projects to signage vendors and communicate necessary project details
  • Collect signage proposals from vendors and review for brand consistency
  • Maintain database for site attributes
  • Ensure drawing sets are received from civil engineering vendors in a timely manner
• Provide Real Estate Team Site Design Support
  • Assist Real Estate Managers with site feasibility reviews
  • Act as a technical resource for site related issues
  • Review information received from brokers to ensure accuracy with as built conditions
  • Communicate site design concepts effectively with franchisees, engineers, local officials, and brokers

Required Qualifications:

• Associate’s Degree in Engineering or Architecture/Design, or related field
• 1-3 years’ experience in civil engineering, architecture, drafting, surveying, landscape design or related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and familiarity with site planning concepts
• Experience with and/or knowledge of site development, surveying, zoning, or permitting processes
• Strong communication, coordination, and organizational skills

Starting Pay Range: $50,000-$55,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
Classification: Non-exempt/Hourly, full-time position.
