Culver Franchising System, LLC is looking for a detail-oriented Kitchen Equipment Designer to become an important member of our dynamic Design team. You will support our Culver’s franchisees, the development and design team and the Culver Franchising System in all areas of kitchen design and interior restaurant layouts.
Essential Functions:
- Execute New Construction Planning
- Assist in developing kitchen equipment layout and specifications for new construction and conversion projects
- Present and maintain accurate documentation of equipment selections to franchisees
- Coordinate with external Foodservice Equipment Consolidator (FEC) to communicate equipment selections, confirm contracts are signed, and equipment delivery is scheduled for all projects
- Review construction documents to ensure Culver’s standards are met
- Execute Reimage Planning
- Act as a project lead for the foodservice team on assigned reimage projects, developing
- equipment layouts and specifications
- Present and maintain accurate documentation of equipment selections
- Coordinate with external Foodservice Equipment Consolidator (FEC) to communicate equipment selections, confirm contracts are signed, and delivery is scheduled for all projects
- Manage Prototype and Reimage Template Updates and Equipment Specifications
- Manage the update process to all Foodservice templates and prototype AutoCAD and Revit files, maintaining accurate blocks and families in coordination with the BIM Specialist
- Manage and update equipment specification sheets for all building types
- Actively strive to learn and apply more efficient processes for AutoCAD use and other processes
- Maintain Relationships with Internal Teams and External Suppliers and Consultants
- Maintain detailed equipment information for all contractors, architects, and engineers
- Collaborate with the supply chain and innovation teams on equipment updates, improvements, and requirements for all building designs, ensuring updates are communicated to the design team
Required Qualifications:
- Associate’s degree, or Bachelor’s degree in Architectural Technology or related field
- 4-7 years related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Working knowledge of construction and building codes
- Proficient in AutoCAD and Revit editions
- Building construction and equipment knowledge and aptitude preferred
- Knowledge of kitchen equipment, including stainless steel and millwork fabrication preferred

Starting Pay Range: $65,000-$72,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
Classification: Salaried/Exempt, full-time position.
