Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome guests in a friendly manner, ensuring they feel valued and comfortable.
- Provide detailed menu descriptions, including daily specials, and make recommendations to enhance the dining experience through upselling techniques.
- Serve food and beverages promptly while adhering to food safety and sanitation standards.
- Manage multiple tables efficiently while maintaining attention to detail and time management skills.
- Process payments accurately through cash handling and cashiering procedures.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery.
- Assist with bussing tables and maintaining cleanliness throughout the dining area.
- Address guest inquiries or concerns promptly to ensure satisfaction and positive guest relations.
Experience
- Previous experience as a Server in restaurants is preferred.
- Culinary experience or knowledge of food handling practices is beneficial.
- Strong customer service skills with an emphasis on hospitality and guest services.
- Basic math skills for accurate order processing and cash handling.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while demonstrating strong communication skills.
