What are the responsibilities and job description for the General Dentist position at Culture Dental?
Our Wichita practice is a private practice group model, eliminating the negative impacts of a corporate setting. We have state-of-the-art technology and provide hands-on CE courses in endodontics, 3rd molar removal, implant placement, and more. We are looking for a general dentist passionate about dentistry who puts patient needs first and has a compassionate disposition. The general dentist will thrive in a one doctor practice and have access to an average of 50 new patients a month.
The tiered compensation package for our general dentist allows you to make an annual salary well above the national industry standard. The first six months we will give you a monthly guarantee, with a payout if your collections exceed the guarantee (and 95% of the time--- they do!).
Partnership opportunities are not only offered- they are encouraged! Partnership opportunities are available as soon as 6 months from start date, and we can take the burden of financing off your shoulders.
General Dentist Responsibilities & Duties:
- Fixing or removing damaged teeth
- Filling cavities
- Performing exams and evaluating x-rays to determine a patient’s health
- Developing treatment plans to deal with any dental health issues
- Administering or prescribing medications to decrease pain and improve patient health
- Interacting with patients and instructing them on proper oral care
- Measuring and fitting dental appliances
- Referring patients to a specialist if needed
General Dentist Skills & Requirements
- Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) degree from a dental program accredited by the Commission on Dental Accreditation
- A state of Kansas license to practice dentistry
- Patience when dealing with patients
- Ability to communicate with patients regarding their health and care
- Good attention to detail
- Able to work with hands in small spaces
- Good problem-solving skills

Pay: $250,000.00 - $450,000.00 per year
