Your Role:
As the Vice President, IT Operations & Delivery, you will lead execution, delivery, and operational excellence across the technology organization. You’ll be responsible for ensuring that technology initiatives are delivered effectively, systems operate reliably, and the organization is positioned to scale. In this role, you’ll serve as a key partner to the CIO and senior leadership team, translating strategic priorities into execution while driving accountability, efficiency, and continuous improvement across IT.
What You’ll Do:
Technology Delivery & Execution
- Lead end-to-end delivery of IT initiatives across application development, infrastructure, and enterprise systems
- Establish and maintain consistent delivery frameworks, ensuring predictability, transparency, and alignment with business priorities
- Drive execution discipline across teams, including sprint planning, prioritization, and milestone tracking
IT Operations & Service Management
- Oversee day-to-day IT operations, including service delivery, incident management, and system performance
- Improve operational maturity through defined SLAs, KPIs, and service management practices
- Ensure high availability, reliability, and performance of core systems
Scalability & Process Optimization
- Design and implement scalable processes, systems, and organizational structures to support business growth
- Identify and address operational inefficiencies through automation and process improvement
- Support cost optimization initiatives while maintaining service quality
Leadership & Cross-Functional Partnership
- Lead and develop senior leaders across application development and IT operations
- Partner with business stakeholders to align technology execution with organizational priorities
- Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement
Strategic Partnership
- Act as a key execution partner to the CIO, supporting the delivery of the technology roadmap
- Translate high-level strategy into actionable plans and measurable outcomes
- Contribute to long-term planning, including system modernization and technology simplification initiatives
Starting Salary: $190,000 with eligibility for annual performance-based bonus
What Makes a Great Candidate:
- Private equity-backed company experience, with direct exposure to value creation and performance-driven environments
- M&A experience, including due diligence, integration, or systems consolidation
- Experience operating in a $250M revenue organization
- Proven track record of leading IT operations and/or delivery functions
- Demonstrated experience scaling teams, systems, and processes
- Strong execution orientation with the ability to balance strategic thinking and hands-on involvement
- Experience leading cross-functional initiatives with measurable business impact
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in high-growth or rapidly evolving environments
- Background in startup or early-stage companies
- Familiarity with modern technology stacks, cloud infrastructure, and enterprise platforms
