Seeking a BIM Manager for a firm that works with clients across the United States to combat the affordable housing crisis by reimagining construction with world-class innovation. They define success by constructability and achieve it through highly coordinated BIM models and a carefully executed quality control plan.
• Maintain BIM/Revit Standards: Oversee
the development and maintenance of BIM/Revit standards, templates, and standard
library content to ensure consistency and quality across all projects.
• Implement Best Practices: Establish and
promote best practices and guidelines that support and improve our existing
project workflows, ensuring they align with industry standards.
• Develop Training Resources: Create and
update training materials, including software utilization workflows, to enhance
the skills of various teams. Provide just-in-time training to address immediate
project needs.
• Support Diverse Teams: Assist teams
across Engineering, Architecture/Design, and Integration/VDC with day-to-day
BIM/Revit activities, including resolving design and coordination issues, to
ensure smooth project execution. Provide just-in-time training to address
immediate project needs.
• Promote Efficiency Tools: Partner with
the Dynamo scripting expert to identify and implement tools that increase
efficiency in the project delivery process.
• Stay Informed on Industry Trends: Keep
up with industry best practices for virtual design and construction,
incorporating new techniques and technologies to enhance productivity and
project performance.
Requirements
• Education: Associate degree in Drafting
Technology or a related technical field. In lieu of a degree, additional
directly related experience will be considered.
• Experience:
o 5
years of design/drafting experience with Revit.
o 2 years of BIM coordination
and management experience.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency with
Autodesk packages, Bluebeam, and experience with BIM coordination tools.
• Collaboration Skills: Ability to work
closely with a Dynamo scripting expert and other team members to drive
efficiency and innovation.
• Certifications: Autodesk Certified
Professional in Revit.
• Software Skills: Familiarity with
Dynamo, Forge, Python, and other BIM applications.
• Digital Tools: Experience with
SharePoint, PowerApps, Power Automate, Power BI, and the broader Microsoft
Suite.
• Project Experience: Comprehensive
knowledge and multi-discipline experience in planning, designing, and
constructing large-scale projects.
• Leadership and Communication: Strong
self-leadership and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to
effectively interact with team members at all levels.
• Adaptability: Demonstrated ability to
be a flexible team player and adapt to changing project requirements.
