Seasonal Sales Associate

Duties

• Greet customers warmly and assist them in locating products or answering inquiries with a friendly, professional attitude
• Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system efficiently for retail sales transactions
• Conduct product demonstrations to highlight features and benefits, encouraging upselling opportunities to maximize sales
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing questions about store products, store policies, or promotions using strong communication skills
• Professionalism through answering customers questions promptly and professionally, providing information or directing inquiries appropriately
• Support the team with basic retail math calculations for pricing, discounts, and sales totals to ensure accuracy in transactions

Experience

• Previous retail sales experience preferred, especially in busy seasonal environments where multitasking is essential
• Supervising experience is a plus, demonstrating leadership in guiding team members or managing store operations during peak periods
• Bilingual skills are highly valued to better serve diverse customer needs and enhance communication efforts
• Experience in product demos or upselling techniques helps drive sales and improve customer satisfaction
• Strong phone etiquette and customer service skills are necessary for engaging positively with shoppers in-person
• Willing to learn new things on a day to day basis
