Culmen International is seeking a bilingual Spanish Linquist/Translator to support operations in Tucson, Arizona.
This is a talent pipeline requisition for future opportunities. Qualified candidates will be contacted when a position becomes available.
- Provide Spanish-language simultaneous and consecutive interpretation for meetings and operational coordination.
- Provide written translation and review of analytic, operational, and intelligence products.
- Provide interpretation support at the General/Flag Officer and Senior Executive Service (SES) level.
- Operate Sennheiser (or equivalent) interpretation equipment.
- Translate technical documents containing military, intelligence, and law enforcement terminology.
- Maintain engagement records and translation/interpretation activity logs.
- Provide an Intelligence Specialist with the principal place of performance in Tucson, Arizona (JIATF-CC), to serve as SME, Intelligence Plans, Programs and Systems, with knowledge of CTOC operations.
- Assisting in the development of intelligence planning, intelligence systems architecture requirements, and intelligence training.
- Provide Spanish linguist/translator personnel who possess a minimum Level 4 (Full Professional Proficiency) in both reading and speaking, as measured by the Defense Language Proficiency Test (DLPT), Foreign Service Institute (FSI) scale, or equivalent Government-recognized assessment. Documentation of proficiency shall be provided to the Government upon request.
- Bachelor’s degree from a college or university
- Experience in Spanish linguist/translator personnel who possess a minimum Level 4 (Full Professional Proficiency) in both reading and speaking, as measured by the Defense Language Proficiency Test (DLPT), Foreign Service Institute (FSI) scale, or equivalent Government-recognized assessment.
- Active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility.
