Registered Respiratory Therapist
Cullman Regional Medical Center is a 145-bed, fully accredited medical center that serves more than 175,000 residents in a six-county area and is and has been a part of the community since 1939. Job Summary / Duties
As a Respiratory Therapist, you will provide quality patient care as a member of the Respiratory Team, develop and ensure the patient plan of care collaboration with physicians, registered nurses, therapists and nursing assistants.
Other responsibilities of the Respiratory Therapist position include:
- Evaluate patient and recommend a treatment plan
- Provide respiratory care to patients with critical and complex medical and surgical conditions
- Perform insertion and removal of endotracheal tubes
- Perform timely and accurate documentation
- Promote continuous quality improvement
- Teach and counsel patients/families
Qualifications
Requirements
Education: Must be a graduate of an accredited Respiratory Therapy Program and licensed in the State of AL. Must be a Registered Respiratory Therapist.
Experience: Critical Care experience in a hospital setting preferred.
