Job Summary:
- Manage departmental inventory supplies located on supply room shelves.
- Aid clerks with order filling and floor delivery as required.
- Entering all charges, including sign-out book, in a timely manner.
- Inventory supply shelves, check expiration date, and dust and sweep area.
- Stock assigned shelves, check expiration date, and dust and sweep area.
- Control costs to ensure hospital financial stability.
- Demonstrate and encourage team behavior and exceptional patient/guest experiences.
- Uphold and promote patient safety and quality.
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Experience:
Experience in inventory preferred.
Additional Skills/Abilities:
Good communication skills. Basic computer skills. Ability to read, write and understand instructions. Some arithmetical ability required to process and count supplies.
