CENTRAL AUDIT AND CHARGE SPECIALIST (10344)

Job Summary:        

• Review all charges and perform chart audits for assigned units - 4E/3E/3W/CCU.    
• Run monthly reports and Critical Alert reports; collect and file monthly reports from all floors.    
• Maintain assigned unit directors' calendars, schedule interviews, etc.    
• Maintain employee files, add new employees to schedule, update phone lists, etc.    
• Demonstrate and encourage team behavior and exceptional patient/guest experiences.      
• Uphold and promote patient safety and quality.     

Education:                
High school diploma or equivalent required. Basic computer skills required.                 

Experience:                
Knowledge of basic medical terminology preferred. Excellent interpersonal skills required. Administrative support experience preferred.                  

Additional Skills/Abilities:                
BLS certification required within 3 months of hire date.
