This position requires you to be able to work all shifts (1st, 2nd, and 3rd) as scheduled, weekends, and holidays. It is not set days, and you are the fill in for Full-time team members when off.

In this vital role, you will be the welcoming face of our hotel, providing outstanding customer service, managing guest inquiries, and ensuring smooth check-in and check-out processes. Your multitasking skills and hospitality expertise will create a warm, inviting atmosphere that keeps guests returning time and again. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your hotel management skills while delivering memorable guest relations in a lively, fast-paced environment.

Duties

  • Greet guests warmly upon arrival, ensuring a positive first impression through friendly and professional interaction.
  • Manage multi-line phone systems with excellent phone etiquette to handle reservations, inquiries, and guest requests efficiently.
  • Check guests in and out accurately using hotel management software, ensuring all details are correct and complete.
  • Provide information about hotel amenities, local attractions, and services to enhance guest satisfaction.
  • Handle guest concerns promptly and professionally, resolving issues to ensure a positive experience.
  • Assist with night audit procedures to reconcile daily transactions and prepare reports for management review.
  • Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to address guest needs swiftly and maintain high standards of service.
  • Maintain a clean, organized front desk area that reflects the welcoming atmosphere of the resort or hotel environment.
  • Support guest relations by offering personalized service that exceeds expectations, fostering loyalty and positive reviews.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in hospitality or hotel front desk operations is highly preferred.
  • Strong customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor.
  • Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills to handle inquiries professionally.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays in a fast-paced environment.

Pay: $15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 16.0 – 30.0 per week
