Responsibilities
- Welcome children warmly upon arrival, ensuring they feel safe and comfortable
- Supervise and engage children with age-appropriate activities
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe environment by following health and safety protocols at all times
- Implement behavior management strategies to encourage positive interactions and cooperation among children
- Communicate effectively with parents or guardians regarding any concerns that arise during care
- Assist with diapering, feeding, and other basic caregiving tasks in accordance with established policies
- Ensure compliance with all licensing regulations, including first aid procedures and emergency response protocols
- Participate in ongoing training related to caregiving best practices
Experience
Candidates should demonstrate a strong background in working with children within daycare, preschool, or babysitting environments. Familiarity with infant care, toddler care, and classroom experience enhances your ability to connect with young children effectively. Experience working with children who have disabilities or special needs is a plus. Certification in first aid and CPR is preferred to ensure preparedness for emergencies.
