Cullman Cabinet & Supply Co., Inc. is seeking a qualified, results oriented Plant Manager to provide comprehensive operational leadership for its manufacturing facility. This role is accountable for ensuring safe, compliant, and efficient operations while consistently meeting production, quality, cost, and delivery objectives.
This is not a working supervisor role. The Plant Manager serves as the senior, site-level operations leader and manages through structured systems, standardized processes, and performance metrics. The position carries full responsibility for daily plant performance, regulatory compliance, workforce leadership, and continuous improvement initiatives aligned with Lean Manufacturing and quality management standards.
- Provide overall leadership and strategic direction for manufacturing operations in alignment with company objectives, operational standards, and quality systems
- Lead, develop, and hold supervisors and department leaders accountable for safety, quality, production, and labor performance
- Ensure full compliance with OSHA regulations, environmental requirements, and company safety policies
- Establish, track, and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs), including labor efficiency, scrap and rework, overtime usage, productivity, safety incidents, and on-time delivery
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on waste reduction, process stability, standard work, and operational efficiency
- Develop and maintain production schedules to support customer demand and on-time delivery commitments
- Oversee labor planning, staffing levels, and workforce scheduling to align capacity with operational requirements
- Ensure all outbound shipments are scheduled, loaded, and dispatched on time in accordance with approved load diagrams
- Ensure consistent application of quality standards, process controls, and corrective actions
- Maintain accountability for hiring, onboarding, training, coaching, disciplinary action, and termination decisions
- Conduct performance evaluations and support leadership development and succession planning
- Prepare and present accurate operational reports and performance analyses to executive leadership
- Promote and enforce a strong safety culture focused on hazard identification, incident prevention, and continuous risk reduction
- Ensure compliance with OSHA, environmental, and workplace safety regulations
- Support adherence to quality management system (QMS) requirements, including documentation, audits, corrective actions, and continuous improvement
- Ensure processes are executed in accordance with established standard operating procedures (SOPs)
- Lead corrective and preventive action (CAPA) efforts related to safety, quality, or operational performance
- Labor costs maintained within approved operational budgets
- Overtime usage monitored, controlled, and justified
- Demonstrated reduction in scrap, rework, downtime, and non-value-added activities
- Consistent achievement of production targets and delivery commitments
- High levels of supervisor accountability, engagement, and retention

- Minimum of five (5) years of experience managing a manufacturing facility or large-scale production operation
- Demonstrated success improving operational metrics through structured process improvement

- Working knowledge of production planning, workflow optimization, and capacity management
- Strong financial acumen related to labor control, operating budgets, and plant performance
