Key Responsibilities:
1. Prospecting and Lead Generation:
o Conduct in-home appointments with leads provided and actively prospect for additional opportunities through outreach.
o Leverage cold calling, networking, referrals, and digital tools to build a robust pipeline of leads.
o Utilize CRM tools to track and manage leads through the sales cycle.
2. Sales Execution:
o Assess the current water conditions of prospects and present tailored solutions.
o Perform tests and demonstrations to compare current water quality with Culligan’s purified options.

3. Follow-Up and Relationship Building:

Performance Metrics:
1. Sales Targets and Quotas:
o Monthly sales quotas and targets in terms of revenue and units sold.
1. Monthly sales target $50,000.
2. Units sold target 25.
o For the purposes of Sales Targets and Quotas, sales and units are measured by agreements signed in said month.
2. Closing Conversion Rates:
o Percentage of appointments that are successfully converted into sales.
1. Average monthly target of 65% (calculated on prior 60 days).
2. Minimum average monthly target of 50% (calculated on prior 60 days).
3. Self-generated Sales Activity:
o Monthly appointments set by sales representative outside of company-provided appointments.
1. Representative is expected to manage 8-10 self-generated activities at all times. (Results to be reported to Director at weekly one-to-one meetings.)
2. Representative is expected to spend 50% of their work week engaged in prospecting activities.
4. Customer Revisit Activity:
o Representative is expected (nonnegotiable) to revisit each customer post-sale.
1. Every closed sale must be revisited within 10-14 days after install.
2. Water testing to be completed.
5. Product Knowledge:
o Demonstrates an understanding of the company’s products and services, including technical specifications and benefits.
1. Consistently follow sales demo and sales process at appointments.
2. Mandatory attendance at Monthly Sales Web Seminars, as hosted by Culligan International, to gain insightful product knowledge.
6. Attendance Expectations:
o Weekly team meeting.
o Weekly one-to-one meeting with Sales Director.
o Representative will not reschedule sales appointments without prior consent from Director. If representative cannot make the appointment due to unforeseen circumstances, the Director may reassign the appointment to another representative.
o A sales representative is expected to spend a minimum of 40 hours a week on company activities, including appointments and prospecting.
o A Household Sales Representative is expected to work or attend events outside of normal business hours, including nights and weekends. Events include, but not limited to:
1. Home Shows
2. Community engagement events
3. Call nights
4. Team activities related to self-generating appointments.
7. Compliance and Process Adherence:
o Adherence to company sales processes, including dress code, accurate documentation and paperwork, to include:
1. CRM daily updates.
2. Finance contract completion.
3. Daily activity reporting to Sales Director.
4. Timely delivery of contracts and payment to Director.
