What are the responsibilities and job description for the IT Security Tester position at Cullerton Group?
Cullerton Group has a new opportunity for an IT Security Tester. This is a part-time job, 10 - 20 hours / week. The work will be done remotely. Compensation is $70 / hr.
IT Security Tester
Based on the Chicagoland area and capable of working remote or coming to our office in Wheaton as needed (which would be rare).
Conducts client external and internal penetration testing for both network testing and web application testing.
Included in this testing would be social engineering via email.
Capable of being both an active ethical hacker, but also using a variety of tools.
Adept in presenting findings via Zoom meetings with clients. This would include both using our reporting templates, thoroughly filling in the reports and executive summary and also presenting the outcomes and recommendations.
Able to run Nessus, Qualys and VulScan vulnerability scans.
Oversight of monthly vulnerability scans which would include the setup of new clients, takedown at the end of client engagements and maintenance of our base of scan clients.
Oversight of miscellaneous security tools including dark web monitoring and more.
Must have and maintain appropriate credentials to be an ethical hacker and foundational IT security.
Salary : $70
