Attorney – Commercial Litigation
Cullen and Dykman LLP, a full-service law firm serving clients since 1850, is seeking a motivated attorney with strong commercial litigation experience to join our Litigation practice group. This role offers an opportunity for a litigator to join a sophisticated litigation practice and expand her/his practice.
Responsibilities
- Apply litigation expertise to complex disputes including business matters, employment disputes and probate litigation.
- Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, and briefs in both litigation and advisory contexts.
- Collaborate with colleagues to provide comprehensive counsel on estate planning and administration.
- Participate in client meetings, hearings, and court appearances as needed.
- Stay current on developments in applicable law while expanding knowledge through firm-provided training.
Educational/Experience Requirements
- Juris Doctor degree required with excellent academic credentials.
- Admitted and in good standing in New Jersey.
- Minimum of 2 years of commercial litigation experience.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential.
- Strong professional judgment, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Ability to communicate professionally with internal and external clients.
- Proactiveness, resourcefulness, and a strong work ethic.
- Ability to work independently and multi-task effectively.
