Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Registered Dietitian, located in Mechanicsburg, PA. The Dietitian will provide comprehensive nutritional counseling, guide dietary planning, and support older adults in achieving health and wellness goals. Responsibilities include performing medical nutrition therapy, offering recommendations for weight management, and evaluating individual dietary needs based on current health conditions. The Dietitian will collaborate closely with the culinary team to integrate healthful practices into daily dining experiences, ensuring compliance with dietary guidelines and residents’ specific needs.
Qualifications
- Expertise in Dietetics and Medical Nutrition Therapy
- Proficiency in Nutritional Counseling and Nutrition Education
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage with residents and staff
- Registered Dietitian (RD) credential and current licensure in Pennsylvania
- Familiarity with senior living or healthcare settings is a plus
- Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, Master's degree preferred
