Description
The Café Bistro is responsible for the preparation, assembly, and service of all menu items from the deli area, as well as other stations indicated by the supervisor.
Responsibilities are primarily focused on customer service within the bistro, taking & verifying orders, and checking customers out at the register. This position is also responsible for assisting with special functions and food production, as well as other tasks determined by the supervisor.

- Comprehend, comply, support, and administer all company rules, procedures, and policies with regards to operations, accounting, human resources, and payroll.
- Maintain a clean and safe work area.
- Fulfill all HACCP policies and procedures and monitor the food distribution
- Produce, prepare and cook hot and cold foods including soups, sauces, salads, specials, entrees, catering, and other food items determined by the supervisor
- Examine foods for quality and freshness and monitor food temperatures
- Portion meals using appropriate measuring tools, garnish food, and oversee the distribution of food leaving the Cafe.
- Station set up prior to service with appropriate equipment & food determined by the supervisor and the distribution of food to the customers.
- Receive, unpack, unwrap, rotate, & stow deliveries into appropriate refrigerators, freezers, and storerooms via supervisor’s instructions.
- Under supervisor’s instruction clean and sanitize work station/area.
