Job Overview
The General Labor Associate supports the production, packaging, and handling of protein products in a fast-paced meat manufacturing environment. This role helps ensure products are prepared, packaged, and shipped safely and efficiently while meeting food safety, quality, and customer requirements. Responsibilities include working with raw, marinated, fully cooked, and sous vide products, maintaining a clean work area, and following all company safety and sanitation standards.
- Assist with processing, packaging, labeling, and palletizing protein products.
- Handle raw, marinated, cooked, and ready-to-eat meat products according to established procedures.
- Follow food safety, quality assurance, and sanitation standards.
- Operate production equipment safely and efficiently after appropriate training.
- Inspect products and packaging for quality and accuracy.
- Maintain clean and organized work areas.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures.
- Support inventory, material handling, and warehouse activities as needed.
- Meet productivity and attendance expectations.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support production operations.
· English or Spanish preferred.
Physical Requirements
· Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout the workday.
· Ability to lift 50 pounds with or without accommodation.
· Ability to work in cold, wet, and refrigerated manufacturing environments.
· Ability to perform repetitive tasks and work overtime as needed.
Pay: $15.92 - $20.00 per hour
