Culinary Angels is seeking an experienced, visionary, and compassionate

Executive Director to lead our growing nonprofit organization into its next chapter

of service and impact.

For more than ten years, Culinary Angels has provided nutrient-rich meals and

nutrition education—at no cost—to individuals undergoing cancer treatment and to

their caregivers throughout the Tri-Valley community. Powered by dedicated

volunteers, generous donors, and strong community partnerships, we believe that

nourishing the body is an essential part of healing.

As Executive Director, you will partner closely with the Board of Directors to

provide strategic leadership, strengthen organizational sustainability, expand

community partnerships, and advance our mission of serving those facing a cancer

challenge. This is an exceptional opportunity for a collaborative leader who values

transparency, integrity, innovation, and community engagement.

Key Responsibilities

The Executive Director provides overall leadership for the organization and is

responsible for:

● Implementing the organization's strategic vision and priorities in partnership

with the Board of Directors.

● Leading day-to-day operations while fostering a culture of collaboration,

accountability, compassion, and excellence.

● Ensuring sound financial stewardship, organizational compliance, and

effective risk management.

● Developing sustainable fundraising strategies and cultivating relationships

with individual donors, foundations, corporations, and government partners.

● Building strong partnerships with healthcare providers, community

organizations, volunteers, and supporters.

● Serving as the organization's chief spokesperson and ambassador throughout

the community.

● Recruiting, developing, and inspiring a high-performing staff and volunteer

team committed to exceptional service.


Qualifications

The successful candidate will bring:

● A minimum of seven years of progressively responsible nonprofit executive

or senior leadership experience.

● Demonstrated success in strategic planning, organizational leadership,

fundraising, financial management, and Board relations.

● Experience leading organizational growth and managing change.

● Outstanding communication, relationship-building, and public speaking

skills.

● High emotional intelligence, diplomacy, and the ability to build trust with

diverse stakeholders.

● A collaborative leadership style grounded in integrity, accountability,

transparency, and service.

● Passion for improving the lives of individuals and families experiencing a

cancer challenge.

● Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred.
