What are the responsibilities and job description for the Regional CDL A Company Driver position at Culcay Transport LLC?
We are seeking a skilled CDL A Truck Driver to join our regional dry van/hook and drop team. The candidate will be responsible for transporting goods and materials over various regional distances. Mon-Fri with weekends home!
Duties
- Safely operate a commercial truck, transport and deliver goods
- Follow all DOT regulations and company safety policies
- Inspect vehicles for mechanical issues and safety concerns
- Maintain accurate driving logs
- Communicate with dispatchers and team members
- Ensure timely and professional deliveries
Skills
- Ability to operate and maneuver semi-trucks, dry vans, etc.
- Proficient in loading and unloading procedures
- Strong defensive driving skills and ability to operate in various road/weather conditions
- knowledge of DOT regulations, Hours of service (HOS) and safety protocols
- Ability to use GPS and route planning tools for efficient deliveries
- Excellent time management to meet delivery schedules
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $0.65 - $0.70 per mile
