EXTENDED SCHOOL YEAR PROGRAM (ESY) - AUTISTIC/LIFE SKILLS PROGRAM
TITLE: Extended School Year (ESY) Special Education Assistant
RATE: $16.63 per hour
REPORTS TO: Supervisor of Special Education / ESY Coordinator
SCHEDULE: June 22, 2026 - July 16, 2026; Monday through Friday
TIME: 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
LOCATION: Culbertson Elementary
Primary Function: To assist with the extended school year instructional program and services
for students with special needs.
Minimum Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED and experience working with school aged children preferred. Specialized training in child development, personal care, and other related areas a plus. Good oral and written communication skills, visual acuity, and the ability to hear and read are required. Must possess the temperament to work with students and adults exhibiting a wide range of emotions and have the physical ability to perform the essential duties including attending to the personal care of students.
