Duties and responsibilities
Painting/Staining/Varnishing
- Paint or stain wood pieces of various types using oil-based or water-based paints with a paint spray gun.
- Prepare paint, stain, and varnish products according to color charts.
- Record new colors in color charts.
- Work in collaboration with the colorist to meet customer requests;
- Prepare surfaces for the proper application of paint, stain, or varnish products;
- Touch up paint, stain, or varnish when necessary;
- Maintain work tools such as spray guns and paint pumps.
Sandblasting
- Occasionally perform finishing sandblasting according to product preparation steps;
- Participate in rough sandblasting activities when required;
- Contribute to the smooth running of the finishing department according to your skills;
