What are the responsibilities and job description for the Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) - LVN position at Cuidado Casero Home Health?
We are looking for a compassionate and empathetic Assistant Director of Nursing - LVN to support the needs of our home health patients.
Some of the responsibilities of the ADON:
- May serve as the supervising nurse of the home health department and assesses appropriate staff supervision during service hours.
- Assures proper maintenance of clinical records in compliance with local, state, and federal laws.
- Oversees the maintenance of patient clinical records, statistics, reports, and records for purposes of evaluation and reporting of the department activities.
- Coordinates and oversees all direct and indirect patient services provided by clinic organization personnel.
What this team member needs to succeed at the Agency:
- Must be a Registered LVN in good standing and currently licensed by the state.
- Must be CPR Certified.
- One or more years of experience in Home Health preferred.
- It requires excellent rapport, understanding, and communication with the patients and their family members.
- Spanish is a plus.
