Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis.   Under minimal supervision, develop, market, and implement creative and engaging material for Community Programs' fee-based education and recreation program. Ensure that activities are safely and effectively implemented in an organized and professional manner.   Rate of pay will be variable and based directly off student enrollment numbers. Net income from the course(s) may be split 50/50 up to $125 hourly for instructional time.   Essential Functions & Qualifications   Required:   • Sensitivity to and understanding of the diverse academic, socioeconomic, cultural, disability and ethnic backgrounds of community education and recreation students   Desirable:   • Teaching and/or work experience in the discipline   Additional Information   This is a short-term/temporary position. Students currently enrolled at Cuesta College will be given priority.   Applications and course proposals will be reviewed year-round. Proposal deadlines fall on the first Friday in February, May, and October.
