Performs as the Water Management Job Supervisor for Biocide and Remediation Services. Supervises other employees while carrying out the objectives of the district and must exercise independent judgment and discretion in performing the job duties to which he is assigned safely and proficiently. Essential duties include the following: Champions the company’s H.S.E.&T program in all aspects of work performed to provide quality service in a safe and efficient manner. Supervises various aspects of Water Management operations and personnel, which may include pre-job and preparation, mobilization, rig up, on site operations, rig down, on-site maintenance, safety, environmental assurance, de-mobilization, and post job inventories and maintenance. Understands and perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections, as needed. Conducts required safety meetings (onsite and off). Use independent judgment and discretion to identify specific topics to be addressed at each meeting. Answers questions raised by employees and takes follow-up action, when necessary to resolve issues that arise during day-to-day operations and safety-related issues or occurrences. Manages the accuracy and completion of data into MESO. Follows manager guidance concerning all Water Management related operations. Ensures that all equipment assigned to them is properly functioning and all applicable procedures and tests are conducted in compliance with required standards. Monitors and makes recommendations which may affect conditions of employees’ employment, including hiring, firing, advancement, promotion, compensation, disciplinary actions, or any other change of status of subordinate employees. Evaluates issues raised by management and exercise independent judgment and discretion to determine proper protocol for implementing changes, when necessary, with the district. Manages crew time sheets. Performs any and all job duties as assigned by supervisory personnel including general labor, as necessary.
