What are the responsibilities and job description for the MERC Maintenance Supervisor, Exempt position at CUDD Pressure Control, LLC?
Supervises two or more employees in day-to-day operations for Equipment Maintenance of designated District. Manages and coordinate the maintenance and repair of equipment at the field and district level. Responsible for the safety, well-being and development of the maintenance personnel under his/her control and compliance to all applicable standards in the designated district. Ensures preventative maintenance and modifications are completed according to defined schedules and processes, and that failed equipment is analyzed and repaired in a timely manner. Ensures the maintenance department, equipment and personnel comply with established industry standards and all corporate policies. Supervises, maintains, and enforces safety from the maintenance organization which must follow approved safe-work procedures. Prioritizes, assigns and effectively communicates task to maintenance team members to ensure the timely completion of work orders. Responsible for planning to ensure the availability and timely preventative maintenance and repair of all equipment. Ensures that standard equipment maintenance methodology is used to provide a systematic preventative approach toward maintenance of all equipment. Ensures all details of the maintenance/repairs performed and parts used must be accurately documented and repair orders in the maintenance management system must be completed. Communicates effectively with the respective operations departments on a daily basis to ascertain equipment needs and plan work activities to fulfill same. Ensures quality of preventative maintenance and repair work is maintained to a high standard at all times. Perform spot-checks and audits on maintenance work performed, review work processes and complete work to promote a culture of continuous improvement in the workplace. Promotes and uses computer-based systems for the planning, reporting and documentation of maintenance services. Ensures that maintenance personnel are mentored, trained, equipped, and motivated so they participate and develop in a safe, timely, and cost-effective manner. Performs well site visits to audit performance of personnel and equipment’s appearance and proper use. If required, performs failure diagnostics/incident investigation. Supports the efficient execution of maintenance activities on an ongoing basis. Keeps abreast of updates in equipment, standard industry processes and maintenance-related information. Complies with all government, industry and company regulations and standards to ensure a healthy and safe work environment, as well as, reduce environmental impact. Other duties as assigned.
