- Create detailed layout designs using SketchUp, CAD, and lighting design tools to visualize concepts clearly.
- Present design proposals confidently, highlighting features such as lighting, cabinetry, and material selections to upsell premium options.
- Manage the entire sales process from initial consultation through contract signing, including negotiation of pricing and project scope.
- Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and project managers to ensure seamless renovation and remodeling execution.
- Conduct product demos and educate clients on available options, emphasizing high-end appliances, lighting solutions, and finishing touches.
- Maintain organized records of client interactions, project details, and account management activities using POS systems and customer databases.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing questions promptly and ensuring client satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.
- Support merchandising efforts by showcasing products effectively within the showroom or retail space.
- Assist with inside sales activities such as stock management, basic math calculations for quotes, and cash handling procedures.
- Proven experience in outside sales or inside sales within the renovation or interior design industry.
- Strong proficiency with SketchUp, CAD software, and lighting design tools to develop accurate layouts and visualizations.
- Demonstrated negotiation skills that lead to successful high-end sales and upselling opportunities.
- Knowledge of construction processes, remodeling techniques, and maintenance requirements for kitchens.
- Multilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse customer bases effectively.
- Familiarity with retail math, POS systems, merchandising strategies, and product demos enhances overall performance.
