What are the responsibilities and job description for the Lead Child Care Teacher position at Cubs Childcare at Stowe Mountain Resort?
Cubs Child Care is seeking an experienced Lead Educator to join our team of dedicated early childhood professionals. Our program, which includes three classrooms serving infants through pre‑kindergarten, emphasizes play‑based learning, exploration, and the unique opportunities of fered by the Stowe Mountain Resort environment within both our licensed early childhood education program and non‑recurring program.
The Lead Educator will be responsible for overseeing the infant classroom and ensuring the provision of a stimulating, safe, and developmentally appropriate learning environment that fosters cognitive, social, emotional, and physical growth. This role includes supervising and collaborating with an Assistant Educator to establish a cohesive and effective teaching team, coordinate curriculum implementation, and manage daily classroom operations.
Together, the Lead Educator and Assistant Educator will ensure that children are actively engaged, supported, and encouraged to develop essential skills. The Lead Educator is expected to uphold all organizational policies and procedures and maintain full compliance with state licensing regulations. This position is a year‑round role within our program.
