What are the responsibilities and job description for the Quality Control Inspector / Engineer position at Cubitek Inc?
Position Summary:
Cubitek is seeking a motivated Quality Control professional to support inspection and quality assurance activities within our precision manufacturing environment. This role is ideal for a candidate with a mechanical engineering degree (or equivalent) who is eager to learn and grow. We are willing to train the right individual. New graduates are encouraged to apply.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform in-process and final inspections of machined and fabricated components
- Interpret engineering drawings, GD&T, and customer specifications
- Use precision measurement tools (calipers, micrometers, height gauges, CMM, etc.)
- Document inspection results and maintain quality records
- Assist with root cause analysis and corrective actions for nonconforming parts
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and quality system compliance
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
- Basic understanding of manufacturing processes and inspection methods
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Willingness to learn and be trained in company-specific processes and systems
