As an Account Executive on the recruiter side, you’ll sell into one of the most exciting user bases out there: independent recruiters and boutique agencies. This is a rare sales motion that combines fast SMB velocity with enterprise-level deal value.
We are focused on finding candidates with a clear Sales Development Reps to Account Executive progression and proven early-stage startup experience — not just large enterprise backgrounds.
We are all so emphasizing that this position has a strong outbound sourcing and modern GTM tool usage (Attio, Clay, Smartlead) as these skills are critical.
In this position you must have a clear understanding of the recruiter marketplace and can effectively sell to independent recruiters/boutique agencies.
As an Account Executive on the recruiter side, you’ll sell into one of the most exciting user bases out there: independent recruiters and boutique agencies. This is a rare sales motion that combines fast SMB velocity with enterprise-level deal value:
- Bring on a solo recruiter → 10 hires → a 6-figure account.
- Bring on a 20-person agency → each recruiter makes 10 hires → a multi-7-figure account.
The best part? Recruiters are salespeople too - they get the pitch, the economics are obvious, and expansion opportunities are massive. This role is a mix of sales, partnerships, and market-shaping. You’ll close new logos, expand accounts, and also help write the playbook that scales the company’s recruiter ecosystem to thousands of partners.
This position in located in the San Fransisco area and you MUST be committed to working in-person full-time.
What you’ll do
- Own recruiter acquisition end-to-end - source, pitch, close, and expand.
- Qualify which recruiters and agencies belong on the company platform (and which don’t).
- Build and refine outbound systems that consistently generate pipeline.
- Account map and grow relationships with high-potential agencies.
What we look for
- 3–8 years in sales, partnerships, or business development at a fast-moving startup.
- Proven outbound chops — you know how to build your own book.
- Consistent track record of top performance (quota-crusher, President’s Club, fast promotions).
- Strong relationship-building and account growth skills.
- Bonus: background in recruiting, fintech or marketplaces.

Base Salary: $100,000 - $150,000 (DOE)
On-Target-Earnings: $200,000 - $300,000.00 - Uncapped
