Job Title: IT Support Technician (Tier 2 Deskside Support)
Work Location: Onsite – Quad Cities Area
Shift: 1st Shift (Flexible start between 7:00–8:00 AM, end between 5:00–6:00 PM)
Travel: Occasional local travel (<5%) to nearby Quad City locations
Job Summary
The IT Support Technician will provide onsite Tier 2 deskside support at the World Headquarters location. This role focuses on resolving end-user issues, maintaining IT assets, and supporting daily IT operations through standardized processes and technical troubleshooting.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide deskside support by resolving ServiceNow tickets and end-user issues
- Perform routine IT tasks such as:
- Imaging and configuring computers
- Replacing printer toner and basic hardware components
- Disposing of outdated IT assets
- Follow documented KB articles and standard operating procedures for issue resolution
- Maintain and update records including:
- Asset management systems
- Inventory logs and service records
- Incident and problem reports
- Support AV and conference room technologies
- Handle basic facilities and administrative requests related to IT services
- Monitor and maintain IT equipment, supplies, and inventory
- Identify process or operational issues and resolve using predefined solutions
- Escalate complex issues outside of standard procedures
- Communicate effectively via email and maintain clear documentation
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Basic knowledge of computing and networking fundamentals
- Hands-on experience with AV/Conference Room support (required)
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite, intranet, and internet tools
- Understanding of IT security policies and general security concepts
- Experience working with ticketing systems (e.g., ServiceNow)
- Knowledge of Agile methodology (preferred)
- Strong communication and documentation skills
Experience
- 1 year of IT support experience preferred
- Recent graduates with relevant technical knowledge are encouraged to apply
Nice to Have
- Experience in asset management and inventory tracking
- Exposure to enterprise IT environments
- Basic hardware troubleshooting skills
