Job Summary:
Seeking a Maintenance Engineer to collaborate with skilled trades and manufacturing engineers in developing and implementing Preventative Maintenance Plans using SAP. This role focuses on infrastructure design, equipment support, project management, and process improvement within a manufacturing setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design infrastructure and equipment for facilities and production areas.
- Lead complex, cross-disciplinary engineering projects.
- Troubleshoot facility and production equipment, especially during downtime.
- Ensure compliance with safety, health, and building codes.
- Source materials and services, managing procurement processes.
- Maintain cost control and oversee budget tracking.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- BSME or related technical degree/experience
- Minimum 2 years of engineering experience
- Experience with machine design and troubleshooting
- Proficient in SAP or CMMS, MS Excel, and PowerPoint
- Skilled in writing maintenance procedures

- Business casual attire; metatarsal boots required from day one
- May require driving between Waterloo sites
