Mid Level Structural Designer
Location: Katy, Tx
Description:
Position Summary
Prepare structural drawings and models under the direction of a Lead Designer or Structural Engineer while supporting projects from concept through construction.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop structural models and drawings using AutoCAD and CADWorx Structure.
- Prepare plans, sections, elevations, and details for steel and concrete structures.
- Produce pipe rack, platform, equipment foundation, and building drawings.
- Coordinate with other engineering disciplines to resolve design issues.
- Incorporate engineering markups and client comments.
- Support field revisions and as-built documentation.
- Maintain drawing quality and company drafting standards.
Qualifications
- 5-10 years of industrial structural design experience.
- Experience detailing structural steel and reinforced concrete.
- Ability to interpret engineering sketches and calculations.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.

Work Environment
Office-based position supporting engineering and design teams with occasional field visits as required. Must be able to work in a collaborative, multi-discipline EPC environment and manage multiple priorities.
