Position: Remote Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) – Addiction Treatment

Location: Tennessee (must hold active TN license)

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to provide telehealth services for clients in recovery from substance use disorders. This is a remote position, allowing you to deliver high-quality care from the comfort of your home while collaborating with our rehab facility’s clinical team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct evaluations for clients in PHP and IOP levels of care
• Diagnose and manage substance use disorders and related conditions via telehealth
• Prescribe and monitor addiction-related medications, including MAT when applicable
• Collaborate remotely with therapists, case managers, and medical staff
• Participate in virtual treatment team meetings to review progress and adjust care plans
• Educate clients and families on diagnoses, medications, and relapse prevention strategies
• Complete all documentation in compliance with state and facility requirements
  
  
  

Requirements:

• Active Tennessee APRN license with Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) certification
• Master’s or Doctoral degree in Nursing from an accredited program
• DEA registration for prescribing controlled substances in Tennessee
• Experience in addiction medicine preferred
• Reliable internet connection and ability to work with HIPAA-compliant telehealth platforms
• Strong communication and patient engagement skills in a virtual setting
