The Senior Event Coordinator serves as the operational lead responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing meetings, conferences, training events, and stakeholder engagements. The position manages day-to-day logistics and ensures all event requirements are fulfilled efficiently and professionally.

Requirements
The Senior Event Coordinator serves as the operational lead responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing meetings, conferences, training events, and stakeholder engagements. The position manages day-to-day logistics and ensures all event requirements are fulfilled efficiently and professionally.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate all aspects of conference and meeting logistics.
- Manage venue communications and coordination with hotels, conference centers, and training facilities.
- Coordinate room layouts, audiovisual requirements, catering, transportation, registration, and attendee support.
- Develop event timelines, planning checklists, and logistics schedules.
- Monitor event execution and provide on-site support when required.
- Coordinate speaker, presenter, and VIP requirements.
- Maintain event documentation and after-action reports.
- Track logistical milestones and communicate status updates to Government stakeholders.
- Resolve real-time event issues and coordinate corrective actions.
- Bachelor's degree
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in event planning, event supervision, and event facilitation.
- Experience coordinating Federal meetings, conferences, or training events.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and virtual collaboration platforms.
- Certified Meeting Professional (CMP) certification.
- Experience using Delphi, PRISM, or similar event management systems.
- Experience supporting large-scale Federal conferences and executive events.
